They not only influence the visual appearance of a work, but also its effect on the viewer. Colours have a special power in mandalas, as they harmonise with their symmetrical structure and can intensify emotions. But how do I find the right colours for my works? I don't rely on fixed rules, but work intuitively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intuitively finding the right colour palette<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/vg08.met.vgwort.de\/na\/a27e69fa70044f3b9dcfc0cc763b0852\" alt=\"\">For me, every mandala begins with a decision: the background colour. It sets the basic mood and from there I develop the colour palette step by step. Sometimes I am drawn to a particular combination without being able to say exactly why. Then I trust my instincts and let the dynamics of the colours guide me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly, many people unconsciously choose colours that reflect exactly the emotions they want to express or reinforce. However, there are also scientifically proven connections between colours and their psychological effects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colour psychology: how colours influence our perception<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Colours have a proven influence on our mood and well-being. They can calm, stimulate or create a certain atmosphere. Here are a few examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Blue<\/strong> is associated with calm, clarity and concentration. It has a balancing effect and can reduce stress. Blue mandalas are particularly suitable for quiet rooms such as bedrooms or meditation areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Red<\/strong> stands for energy, passion and dynamism. It can activate and attract attention \u2013 perfect for creative spaces or as a powerful statement in the home.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Green<\/strong> symbolises nature, growth and harmony. This colour has a calming and grounding effect, which is why it is often used in areas that are intended to promote relaxation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Yellow<\/strong> conveys optimism, light and warmth. It can lighten the mood and brings vibrancy to a room.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Violet<\/strong> is associated with spirituality, inspiration and depth. This colour stimulates creativity and can support a meditative atmosphere.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The effect of colours is used specifically in psychology and interior design. They can be used deliberately to intensify certain emotions or create a certain mood in a room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mandalas as a design element in living spaces<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Mandalas are not only an expression of artistic creativity, but can also be used specifically in interior design. Their colours and harmonious symmetry help to create a certain atmosphere in the living space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A mandala in cool blue tones can help make a room feel calmer and more balanced \u2013 ideal for work or meditation areas. Warm red tones, on the other hand, give rooms more energy and can create a sense of dynamism. Subtle earth tones, in turn, create a natural, cosy environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The targeted choice of colours allows not only decorative but also atmospheric accents to be set.
