Traditional sand mandalas are swept away once they are complete – as a symbol of the transience of all existence. In my mandala clocks, this idea meets the present moment: the image remains, yet time continues to pass. Whilst the mandala radiates tranquillity, the moving hands serve as a reminder of how precious every moment is. A interplay of permanence and change.
