My purpose as an artist and course instructor

This year I turned 50. Fifty!
The number feels perfect.
I look back: I think about experiences, encounters, and moments that touched my heart.
At the same time, I look ahead: What will remain? What do I really want to leave behind in this world?
For me, the answer was clear: it lies (above all) in my art — and in passing it on. In this article, I write about my purpose as an artist and course instructor.

My mandalas are small energy fields that touch hearts and minds. Each work has its own mood, its own intention. They are not only meant to be seen, but also felt. And in my courses, I want to show people how to give themselves little moments of silence in everyday life. Not loud. But reliable.

Inspire people. Bring joy.

My mandalas are designed to provide tangible relief.
Often, a quiet glance at the center is enough. Your breathing becomes deeper, your shoulders relax, your thoughts fall into place. That's exactly why I paint for: for living rooms, practices, and offices where a picture is more than just decoration — it's a friendly anchor that says, You've arrived.

So for me, it's not just about colours and shapes, but about impact. When someone stands in front of one of my mandalas, I want them to feel: Here, I can pause for a moment. Here, I can take a deep breath, calm down, just be. In a world that is often loud and hectic, moments like these are little oases. They invite you to recharge your batteries, let go of your thoughts, and give yourself a moment of peace. The effect of my mandalas is subtle but noticeable. And that's what I want: to create spaces that touch people in a gentle, positive way. But my mandalas are not only meant to change the space, but above all the people in it.

Providing momentum – small sparks of inspiration

Creativity is allowed to start easily.
In my courses, I teach clear steps that provide confidence. Recurring patterns build trust; trust develops an eye for balance — in images and in everyday life. Talent is not a prerequisite. Curiosity is enough.

I hope that my courses encourage people to discover their own creativity, to give themselves time, and to consciously enjoy everyday life. Every workshop is also a workshop for the soul: pause, take a deep breath, feel your own thoughts.

My legacy: passing on positive energy

When I think about the coming years, I hope that my mandalas will leave their mark — little rays of light in the world. They are meant to spread joy, peace, and inspiration, even long after I am no longer painting myself. My legacy is to pass on this energy. Each mandala is a part of me that goes out into the world to spread positive vibrations. I want to fill spaces, touch hearts, and invite people to pause for a moment, smile, and feel themselves. Because in the end, what matters to me is not how many works I have created, but what effect they have — and in a way that lasts.

If you like, take a look at the shop — maybe your mandala is already waiting for you!

As mandala artist and workshop host I combine creativity with mindfulness. My aim is to inspire others to find inner peace and balance by looking at and painting mandalas.
