Review of September 2025: Quiet. Sunny. Full.

1. October 2025

September was quiet.
The days ticked by with three blog articles, a small commissioned piece, fine-tuning the website and a new 50 cm mandala that is currently growing. At the same time, the weather was glorious – and a few breaths of Baltic Sea air did me good. Looking back on the month, it seems almost unspectacular.

On the blog

I wrote three texts.
They cover everything from understanding the autonomic nervous system to the calming effect of mandalas to what I want to achieve as an artist and course instructor. For me, this series belongs together: first understand, then feel, then figure out why I paint and teach exactly for this reason.

In the studio

A new mandala is taking shape.
The diameter: 50 centimetres. The colour palette is in fresh shades of green.
I'll show it when it's finished. I also received a small commission – a real pleasure! I'm currently working on four coasters for drinks. The colours are finely coordinated.

Website and shop

A lot of structure was created. I changed a lot of things. Optimised. Learned.
And finally integrated the VG Wort (Copyright collecting agency) tracking pixels. Made many adjustments that are invisible in the front end (keyword: SEO). The shop was left a little behind, but I did add a few new works.

Social Media

Instagram fell silent.
After August, I deliberately took a break. Because I have to say: sometimes I find it really annoying. I haven't yet found the right approach for me there. I find it too time-consuming (for now), but perhaps that will change with a little more routine. When the new work is finished – and the shop is further stocked – I'll be back there with substance instead of hasty posts.

Outdoors and on the go

The light was golden.
A short trip to the Baltic Sea cleared my head. These moments not only nourish my work in the studio.

The other job

My other freelance job took up a lot of time. Projects and deadlines had to be juggled, and by the evening I had no energy left. But that's okay, because I don't want to put myself under pressure anymore.

Outlook for October

Finalise the shop. A sneak peek of the new mandala. Perhaps a new workshop date? And a newsletter that bundles the three blog articles and includes a short breathing exercise.

And you?

Tell me about your September.
Stagnation, turmoil, or something in between?
I look forward to your comment!

As mandala artist and workshop host I combine creativity with mindfulness. My aim is to inspire others to find inner peace and balance by looking at and painting mandalas.
