30 cm, high-quality acrylic paints on MDF

Five large feather fans open out like a circle in motion, each line drawn with a brush, each dot applied individually. Towards the centre, they converge into a swirl of five blossoms that gently rotate around one another. Small golden mirrors create points of light that shift with every angle of view.

The colours have their own effect:

  • Metallic Petrol – calm and deep, like still water that offers stability.
  • Perlweiß – clear and expansive, clears your head.
  • Gold – warm and light, the light that moves with you.

It all began with a simple wish: to work with a pentagon. From this shape emerged the division into five equal segments, from which the entire pattern developed. In many traditions, the number five is regarded as the number of movement; perhaps this is reflected in the title ‘Reverie’ – a moment of daydreaming in which something revolves without settling on anything in particular.

The colour palette has been deliberately kept minimal so that the form can speak for itself. Nothing superfluous, no distractions. What remains creates a sense of calm and makes the eye feel at ease.

      • Make sure that the artwork is hung in a safe place that minimises the risk of a fall.
      • Do not hang the artwork in areas that are exposed to high humidity or extreme temperature fluctuations.
    • Avoiding direct sunlight:
      • Avoid direct sunlight to prevent colour fading or damage to the artwork.
    • Materials:
      • The artwork was created using non-toxic acrylic paints. If you are sensitive to certain ingredients, please contact the manufacturer.

    Care instructions

        1. Cleaning of the artwork:
          • Use a dry, soft cloth to dust the artwork. Avoid using wet wipes or cleaning agents to prevent damaging the painting.
          • A slightly damp cloth can be used to clean the wooden surface, but make sure that no liquid gets onto the acrylic paint.
        2. Avoid humidity:
          • Make sure to keep the artwork in a dry environment. Humidity can damage the wooden surface and the colours.
        3. Hanging:
          • The Mandala comes with an attached wall hanging. Please make sure that it is checked before mounting and that it is attached to the wall with suitable mounting materials. I cannot take responsibility for improper installation.
